The brachiopod fauna from Kangkelin formation is described for the firsttime in akesu,Xinjinag Auto. Reg,. There are 64 species in 45 genera,among them are 9new species,The age of the fauna is considered to be Asselian. Paleobiogeographically,thebrachiopod faund of Kangkelin F, belongs to the Europe-Cathaysia superprovince of theTethvs realm.
