n this paper,the hydraulic research,structural design,prototype test from homologous turbine, material election, and manufacture process about uprating and refurbishing of the hydraulic turbine for Liujiaxia plant are describedbriefly,and the measures for improving the anti-abrasion by mud and sand are also discussed.
