慢性苯妥英钠中毒引起的神经系统及肌肉损害

Damages to the Nervous System and Muscles Caused by Chronic Poisoning of Phenytoin Sodium

一例长期服用较大剂量苯妥英钠的癫痫患者出现了脑病、小脑变性、周围神经病和肌病。我们对其进行了脑电图、肌电图、头颅CT及肌肉活检的光镜、电镜及糖原染色观察,其结果表明苯妥英钠引起的隐袭毒性作用是危险的。

A patient with generalized seizure disorder who took the larger dose of phenytoin sodium over a long period of time, showed encephalopathy, cerebellar ataxia, peripheral neuropathy and myopathy. EEG, EMG, CT, the muscle biopsy with light and electron microscopes and histochemical observation have been performed. All the results indicate that the insidious toxic effects of phenytoin sodium are horrendous.
