摘要
作物细胞质雄性不育的分类是在比较细胞质基因组或其表达性状的差异基础上进行的。分类研究方法主要有:比较细胞质的来源、恢保关系、细胞学特征、生理生化代谢和细胞器基因组的差异。本文在评述了这几种研究方法的基础上,提出分析线粒体DNA的差异是一种最有效的快速、简便、价廉和准确的作物细胞质雄性不育的鉴定和分类方法。
Classification for crop cytoplasmic male sterility (CMS) is based on the differences in organelle genome and/or phenotype among CMSs. Up to date, five kinds of classific methods arc reported, i.e. analyzing the deffer-ences in;origin of CMS, restoration-maintainance relationship, cytological characteristics, physiological and biochemistrical metabolism and organelle genome. After indicating the advantages and disadvantages of these methods, the authors suggest that the classification based on the differences in mtDNA isolated from CMSs is the best onq for crop cytoplasmic male sterility.
