Research and Progress of the Optical Soliton Communication System

分析了常规线性通信系统中存在的问题，提出了其解决方法，概述了孤子通信的优点及其发展简况，并着重对高速长距离全光孤子通信系统方案作了评述。

Problems existed in the conventional linear optical fiber communication system are analyzed, and solutions to the problems have been proposed. The virtues of the optical soliton communication system and the progress of researches on it are stated. Furthermore, the schemes of the all-optical soliton communication system with high repetition rate over ultra-long distance are expounded with emphasis.
