陕西省是中国自然灾害最严重的省区之一，关中平原又是陕西省的重灾区，且灾害多与人类活动有关．本文论述了关中平原的各种自然灾害的特征和因人类的不当行为对关中平原环境的破坏以及由此引起的自然灾害，目的在于提高人们的环境保护意识，防止人为性自然灾害的重演．

The Central Shaanxi Plain is an area that suffers most severely natural calamities in China, and these natural calamities usually result form human activities. The author attempts to make people realize the importance of the environment protection by summing up the features of the natural calamities in the plain, and describing in detail the destructions and natural calamities caused by the improper activities of human beings on the environment of the plain.
