咽旁间隙肿瘤(附61例临床分析)

TUMORS OF THE PARAPHARYNGEAL SPACE──ANALYSIS OF 61 CASES

１９７０－１９８９年间，我院收治了６１例咽旁间隙肿瘤，大部份为良性。ＣＴ扫描对诊断和指导治疗有重要意义。良性肿瘤以手术治为主，本组手术切除４８例，其中良性肿瘤３９例，恶性肿瘤９例，均采取颈外侧进路，５例恶性肿瘤加术后放疗。良性肿瘤术后很少复发，恶性肿瘤的３、５年生存率分别为５３．３％和３６．４％。

61 patients with parapharyngeal tumors were treated in our hospital from 1970 to 1989. 38 were male, 23 were female. The male-femal ratio was 1.7 :1. The mean age was 34.3 years.(from 16 to 68 years).The benign tumor was totaled 69 percent, malignant lesion was accounted 31 percent.Neurogenic tumor and mixed tumor from salivary glands were most commonly noted as benign tumors. Schwannoma were formd in 16 cases, Neurofibroma in 1 case, chemodectoma in 3 cases and mixed tumors of salivary glands in 14 cases.CT is important as a guide to diagnosis and therapy.The external surgical approach is favored in most patients for excision of the tumors occurring in the parapharyngeal space, 48 patients were treated by exernal surgical removal in this group, of 48 cases, benign tumor in 39 cases, malignant tumor in 9 cases. 5 patients were malignant tumor treated by surgery added radiotherapy after operation.Recurrence rates in patients with benign lesions are low, of all the patients with malignant tumors 3-year suvival rate was 53.3 percent and 5-year survival rate was 36.4 percent.
