Growth and Development of physical Build on Chinese Collesge Students of the Minority Nationalities

本文根据1985年全国学生作质、健康调研资料,报告了中国十六个少数民族男大学生和八个少数民族女大学生的生长发育状况,应用指标有身高、坐高、体重、胸围、肩宽和盆宽。结果表明:①、各少数民族大学生的生长发育水平存在着较大的差别,位于我国北方地区的少数民族大学生生长发育水平高于南方少数民族;②、大多数少数民族大学生的发育水平低于汉族大学生。

According to the data on the″Investigation of Chinese Students' Physical Condition and Health″ furnished in 1985, this paper reports growth status of men college students of the 16 minority nationalities containing, Monggol, Uygur, Hui, Zang Chaoxian, Bai,Yi,Zhuang, Miao, Dong, Tujia, Hani, Kazak, Dai, Li and Naxi, and women college students of the 8 min- ority nationalities containing Monggol, Hui, Zang, Uygur, Bai,Chaoxian, Yi and Zhang. This paper is concerned with 6 items including height, weight, sitting height,chest circumstance,biacromial width and bicristal width. The average value of each item for each minority nationality is reported. The results odtained indicate that the difference in the physical constitution between the nationalities is great. The growth level of the minority uationalities located in the northern part of China is higher than that of those located in the southern part. The growth level of most of the minority nationalities is lower compared with that of Han nationality.
