摘要
扫描电镜以高分辨、大面积及立体像的观察效能研究肿瘤,是一种十分有利的工具。本文用扫描电镜观察了5例甲状腺乳头状癌和6例滤泡性癌,并以15例甲状腺良性滤泡性肿瘤作为对照,结果表明,扫描电镜下所观察到的甲状腺滤泡结构及细胞表面形态的异常,明显反映甲状腺癌的特征。滤泡细胞的重度多形性、巨细胞、奇形细胞和奇形乳头或奇形细胞簇的出现,以及细胞排列紊乱、拥挤和被覆面崎岖不平是扫描电镜下具有诊断意义的癌的特征。此外,扫描电镜对光镜下不可辨认的早期癌变细胞亦可明确察及,说明扫描电镜对甲状腺癌的诊断有很大价值。
Scanning electron microscopy is a valuable tool for
studying tumor by its high resolution and with large areas,great
depth of field.This paper reports a scanning electron microscopic
study on thyroid papillary carcinomas andfollicular carcinomas.The
results showed that abnormal surface morphology of cells and follicls
might clearly re-flect the features of thyroid carcinomas.The present
of severe pleomorphism,appearance of gaint cells
,bizarrecells,bizarre papillae or bizarre clusters,and the chaotic
arrangment with much croweded cells forming a ruggedsurface of
follicle covering cells were the surface morphologic features
possessing diagnostic significance for carci-nomas.In
addition,scanning electron microscopy was found to be an advantageous
method for discovering earlymalignancy of thyroid.Thus the scaning
electron microscopy was shown to be of great value in diagnosis of
thyroid carcinoma.
