林生山黧豆引种栽培试验初报

A PRELIMINARY REPORT ON INTRODUTION AND CULTIV ATION OF LATHYRUS SYLVESTRIS

为了利用林生山黧豆的优良特性，从美国引进这种林牧草的种子，在北京选点进行了两年多的栽培试验。结果表明，林生山黧豆生长快，产草量高，耐干旱，耐贫瘠，是一种很有潜力的水土保持植物和牧草。并且适应我国北方气候，宜于在我国北方推广种植。

In order to utilize its superior characteristics,Lathyrus sylvestris seeds were introdued into China fromthe United States in 1993,and had been grown for two years in Beijing.The result showed that it had thecharacteristics of growing fast,high yields,drought tolerant and infertile tolerant and it was a potentialsoil and water conservation and fodder grass plant.It was also well adapted to the climate in northernChina,and good for extension and plantation in northern China.
