摘要
曲线矢量数据的压缩在计算机图形学与计算机自动制图中有着极其重要的意义。本文在深入研究了曲线矢量数据压缩的有关理论和常用算法之后,提出了一种具有预测功能的曲线矢工数据压缩方法。该方法在满足给定精度限差的条件下,能够对曲线变化进行实时分析,并自动从组成曲线的点序中抽取压缩地最大的保留点序,实验结果表明该方法是行之有效的,用它对曲线矢量数据进行压缩可获得比用常用的曲线矢量数据压缩算法更大的压缩比。
Vector data compression for curves is very important in the field of digital mapping,Af-ter investigating into the theory and commonly used algorithm of vector data compression,the author puts forward a new vector data compression method for curves,which has predic-tion function. It can realize extracting a group of points whose number is much less than thatof the original vector data, but the maximum error is within the given tolerance. The resultsof test show that it is more efficient than the commonly used methods which have not predic-tion function.
