This paper analyses some factors in serum and lenses of senile cataract with stepwise regressive discriminant equation, which were difference in simple analysis. Variables finally entered to the discriminant equation in serum are: Age, Li, Ge, Si, Al, Zn and that in lenses are: Ca, As, Zn, P, Ca/P in proper order. We discuss 5 relative factorswhich are very impor tant in senile cataractous development.
