摘要
在分析湖北省土地利用结构及４０余年耕地变化过程的基础上，运用多种方法预测了湖北省耕地的生产力及土地人口承载力，最后提出了协调人地关系的对策。
Based on analysis of the land use structure and the dynamic process of the arable land ofHubei Province in the past forty years,this paper predicts the productivity and the populationsupporting capacity of the arable land of Hubei Province in 2000.Measures to harmonize therelationships between man and land are presented.
