Investigation on the Virus Isolation of Herpes Simplex Keratitis

单疱性角膜炎是常见感染性眼病之一,其主要特点是形态多变,病程迁延,复发率高,发病率有逐渐上升趋势。目前国内对本病研究多为各种疗法的疗效报告;单疱性角膜炎的诊断也是以临床特征为依据。

We have researched the herpes simplex virus isolation from 30 cases which were clinically diagnosed as herpes simplex keratitis, whose ages ranged from 7 to 68 years old. The shortest course was two days and the longest was more than two years. Virus was isolated from 9 of the 30 cases (30%), Of the 30 cases, there were 14 cases of dendritic keratitis of which 8 were, isolation positive (57.1%), 10 cases of geographic keratitis of which 1 was positive (10%),and 6 were not virus-isolated. Among these 6 cases, 5 were discform keratitis and 1 was recurrent superficial keratitis punctata.By the BVDU sensitivity measurement the virus isolation strain is determined as the herpes simplex virus type I.
