The key problem of directional drilling is the accuracy and reliability of orientation of deflecting tools. In order to improve the accuracy of orientation,enlarge the applicable range and simplifythe operation procedure of the instrument,the work principle,structure of the transducer and circuit ofthe instrument are discussed in this paper.
