气象传真微机自动发片系就是成都区域气象中心现代化建设的重要组成部分。该系统集气象传真图形生成、发送和管理于一体，自动定时向云、贵、川等西南各省、地、县气象台站发送气象图形产品及数值预报等资料。
The transmission system of meteorological facsimile is playing an important role in the modemization of the Chengdu Regional Meteorological Center．It functions to generate，transmit and manage the facsimile images of meteorological pictures and weather charts．Meteorological preducts and numerical forecast are sent to all weather offices in South-west China，i．e. ，all provincial，and county weather offices in Sichuan，Yunnan, and Guizhou Provinces at definite times every day automatically.
