潮滩盐沼物理过程的研究进展综述

PROGRESS IN PHYSICAL PROCESSES ON MUDFLATSALTM ARSH:AN OVERVIEW

综述了本世纪国外潮滩盐沼堆积、侵蚀机制的研究进展，主要包括潮滩盐沼的粘性泥沙沉积动力机制的分析、对潮滩盐沼的物理过程的详细观测研究、沉积模式研究，以及潮滩盐沼物理过程的知识在海岸防护和其它方面的应用。

This review presents an overview of the advances of knowledge and research into thedepositional and erosional mechanisms ,as governed by the tide, waves , sea level and salt-marsh plants , involved in the formation of mudflat and saltmarshes during this century. Our understanding of physical processes on mudflat and saltmarshes has been stimulatedby the results of dynamic behaviour of marine finegrained sediments over the last severaldecades. Developments in the techniques available to the earth scientist have allowed de-tailed scrutiny of the processes affecting coastal saltmarshes at scales not previous considered. The application of knowledge of saltmarshes processes in coastal defence and otherschemes has been increasingly attempted in recent years.
