摘要
本文着重讨论：（１）当前大陆深部构造研究面临的困惑和挑战；（２）地球材料物理性质研究在深部构造中的意义；（３）对我国开展这个领域研究的希望和建议。文章强调地球材料物理性质不仅是深部构造研究的核心问题之一，同时也是地球物理成果合理解释的重要约束条件。
The objectives of the present paper elucidate:(1)frustrating and challenge facing atpresent in the study of deep structure,(2)the role and implication of physical property of earthmaterial in deep continental structure,(3)hope and suggestion develop this research field in ourcountry.It is stressed that physical property of earth material not only is one of critical ques-tions in deep continental structure,but also places important constraints on proper explanationof geophysical research results.
