摘要
本文提出了一种新的静止图象压缩编码算法,即VQ+DPCM+DCT算法,并与JPEG标准的基本系统进行了比较。实验结果表明,新算法的压缩比有较大提高。
A new still-picture compression coding algorithm, VQ + DPCM + DCT algorithm, is proposed. The performance of JPEG baseline system and VQ + DPCM + DCT algorithm is compared. Experimental results show that the aew algorithm is very efficient.
