In this paper,the OS-CFAR detector is studied in Weibull background and its performance for an homogeneous clutter background is analyzed.For Weibull background with unknown shape parameter C the estimation method with censoring function is proposed based on expectation value and median of random variables from a reference window.In addition,the performance of this estimation method is disccussed in an homogeneous clutter background.The results show that the estimation algorithm possesses very small additive CFAR losses.For N=16,C=2 and k=12,the CFAR losses of the algorithm are much smaller than those of the two parameter OS-CFAR.
