Abstract Laelaspis ningxiaensis Bai et Gu,1994In this paper the male of Laelaspis ningxiaensis Bai et Gu, 1994[Acta Zootazx. Sinica,19(2):181] is described for the first time. It similar to Laelaspis myrmophila (Michael,1891), but the ventral region of holoventral shield longer and narrower, with lateral margins concave; the fixed digit of chela longer than the movable;the end of spermatodactyl expanded (figs. 1-2).Specimens 5 1♀♀ and 2 ♂♂,ex the nests of ants, from Baicheng (45°37'N, 122°49'E), Jilin Province,May to Aug. 1993.Laelaspis myrmophila (Michael, 1891)New record from China. Specimens 16 ♀♀,2 ♂♂,ex the nests of ants, from Daan County (45°31N, 124°17'E), Jilin Province, May to June,1963.
