A biparameter inversion system for a class of 1-D wave equation is established. The beck-ground of this work is the multi-parameter inversion in seismic date processing. Taking impulse func-tion as a focused seurce,a biparameter inversion method is presented. This method is based on the singu-larity analysis theory for hyperbolic equation. The posedness of this inverse problem is also discussed.
