Manufacture of Extra-Thin Wall Steel Pipe by LD Cluster Mill

介绍了通过合理的工具设计和工艺设计，在ＬＤ冷轧管机上轧制极薄壁钢管的方法，并对轧制过程中出现的问题进行了详细的分析，提出了改进措施。成功地轧制出φ１８．５×０．２５，φ１５．５×０．２５，φ１１．４×０．２，φ１４．２４×０．１２，φ２１．７４×０．１２（ｍｍ）５种极薄壁钢管。

In this paper the manufacture of extra-thin wall steel pipe by LD cluster mill through suitable tools design and process design was described in detail.The defects in steel pipe produced during rolling were analysed and some measures were put to improve thein, Five kinds of extra-thin wall steel pipes have been pro-duced,which are as follows:φ18.5×0.25,φ15.5×0.25,φ11.4×0.2,φ14.24×0.12,φ21.74×0.12(mm).
