This paper gives a survey of development and application of microal-loyed engineering steels,including those with ferritic-pearlitic, bainitic,and marten-sitic structures. In particular,some typical methods are discussed with regard to en-hancing the toughness of high strength microalloyed engineering steels with ferrite-pearlite structure.
