Poly(ester-amide) copolymers of glycolide(GA) and 6(R, S)-methyl2,5-morpholinedione(MMD) were synthesized by bulk ring-opening copolymerization of GA and MMD. The effects of polymerization temperature, time, initiator content, GA/MMD mol ratio in feed were investigated, and the results showed that the optimal temperature, time and initiator/monomers mol ratio are 130t, 48 hours and 0.1 %, respectively. The DSC analysis indicated that with the increase of GA content in the copolymer, the T, of the copolymer is decreasing, the T-and crystallinity are increasing gradually.
