The application of rare-earth chlorides to the dyeing process of acrylic fibre is studied in the paper. The technique is on trial production and finds that the rare-earth chlorides can improve the pick-up and meantime saves dye consumption and lowers the dyeing temperature, shortens the dyeing time.The quality of dyed fabric is better and posesses certain level of anti-static property.
