Three groups of turbine rectangular cascades with a low aspect ratio and gasflow different turning angles were tested in a low speed wind -tunnel. Each group of the cascades includes three sets equipped with conventional straight, positive curved and negative curved blades respectively. The static pressure distributions on the blade surfaces are surveyed in detail. The experimental results show that when the high lossos locate near the endwalls inconventional straight cascade or at the cascade middle region, blades must be curved positively or negatively,which can reduce the cascade flow losses.Wlien the high losses locate at about 1/4 and 3/4 relative blade height, blade curving along one direction does not decrease the losses of the cascade itself.
