A new molecular potential model, namely Multi-Square-Well potential model (MSW),is proposed. On the basis of the MSW model, a second vinal coefficient equation is developed.This equation has been tested for 16 kinds of substances and the test results show that the proposed equation is accurate and reliable. All these faCts indicate that the MSW potential model is very close to the real molecular potential function.
