By using an equivalent intermolecular potential function, LJ(6-12), for polar substance Vapor and an intermolecular free volume model for liquid respectively, a new cubic reduced vinal equation of state for saturated steam and a new density equation for saturated water have been proposed in this paper. Coupled with these equations, a new simple vapor pressure of water is also proposed. Results computed from these new procedures agree well with experimental and literatured data. It is shown that the new proposed equations are not only simple ill form and convenient to practice, especially for numerical analysis, but also adaptable to wide engineering application with high accuracy.
