摘要
描述的木化石产自湖北新洲县阳逻镇的砂砾岩中,计有LaurinocylondabieshanenseYang(sp.nov.),CanarionylonnoduliformeYang(sp.vov.)和CornocylonhubeienseYang(sp.nov.),它们似属第三纪植物。木化石的解剖特征表明,这些植物当时生长在温暖湿润的亚热带。
The fossil woods described in this paper were collected from the piedmont of the Dabie Mountains near Yangluo tonn of Xinzhou County in Hubei,Central China, including Laurinoxylon dabieshanense Yang (sp' nov.) of Lauraceae,Canarioxylon nodull'forme Yang (sp. nov.) of Burseraceae and Cornoxylon hubeiense Yang (sp. nov.) of Cornaceae. Their anatomical characters seem to reflect a humid and subtropical climate in Central China in the Tertiary period.
