本文扼要介绍了计算机局域网络的布线类型及其物理接口,指出对绞电缆在LAN布线中日益上升的地位和电缆业者面临方兴未艾的LAN市场应采取的策略.
This article intends to recapitulate the typical cabling systems for LANs and their physical interfaces and to demonstrate that the twisted-pair cables are playing an increasingly important role.The strategy that should be taken by cable manufacturers facing increasing LAN market in China is also discussed.
