摘要
提出了快中子γ产生截面测量实验中的一种寿命校正方法,能够充分利用飞行时间技术解决以下问题:从γ峰中分离瞬发和非瞬发成分,同时确定瞬发γ和非瞬发γ产额,提供了一种中子活化截面的在束测量手段,特别适用于短寿命γ产生截面测量。该方法用于铝样品在14.9MeV中子轰击下的活化截面的测量和数据处理,取得了满意的结果。
Gamma-ray production data due to fast neutron interactions with structural and shielding materials can be obtained by time-of-flight method. In previous(n, xγ) experiments utilizing time-of-flight technique, only prompt gamma-ray production data can be given.Lifetime correction method is proposed to solve the following problems sepamting prompt and non-prompt component from a mixed gamma peak, determining prompt and non-prompt gamma-ray production yield simultaneously. It provides an in-beam measurement method of neutron activation cross sections, especially suitable for measurement of short lifetime(less than several hours) decay gamma-rays yields. Lifetime correction method has been used in Al(n, xγ) experiment with 14.g MeV incident neutron and data procession, and the result agrees well with previous ones by other methods.
