The Pratt & Whitney, General Electric and Rolls-Royce develop the PW4084, GE90 and Trent 800 engines respectively for the Boeing 777. In order to improve the engines ' s maintainability, the companies did a lot of research and incorporated many simplified maintainability measures, which will provide the airline with the low maintenance cost.
