我国液化石油气进口量接连跃升

Steady Increases in China's LPG Imports

产量增长落后于需求,致使我国液化石油气进口量连年翻番。1990年进口量不足10万吨,1994年已猛增到137万吨。进口液化石油气绝大部分集中在广东等东南沿海省份作民用燃料消费。今年年初南方城市液化石油气售价曾随国际市场价格而高涨。需求持续上升加上储运设施的增加将使今年的液化石油气进口量达到200万吨以上。

China's LPG imports have increased steadily over recent years, as demand outpaced growth in production. LPG imports, less than 100,000 tons in 1990, had risen to 1. 37 million tons by 1994. Most LPG imports are consumed as domestic fuel in Guangdong and other southeast coastal provinces. The retail price in southern cities rose sharply early this year in response to the international market. Continued rises in demand, as well as increased storage and transport facilities, will cause this year's im-ports to reach 2 million tons.
