借助高速摄影技术，分析了横向卷曲“Ｃ”形屑的形成与折断过程．提出了一种新的切屑折断数学模型，并给出了断屑判据．
With the aid of high-speed photogmphy，the formation and breakingof'C'-type cross-curling chips are analy ed. New mathematical models for'c'type chipand the criterion for judging chips break or not are given.
