8 Title compounds have been synthesized by the reaction of 1,3,2-dibenzo [d.f] and dinaphtho(α,β)[d, f]-dioxaborepin respectively, withβ-diketones, including acetylacetone, ferrocenoylacetone, benzoylacetone and dibenzoylmethane. The IR and ~1H NMR spectra of them indicated that ligands bonded bidentately with boron to form spiro boron chelates.
