The Assay and Clinical Significance of Serum DNA-Polymerase Activity in Patients With Haematological Malignancies

细胞DNA-聚合酶(DNA—P)是一类与DNA复制、修复、重组密切相关的酶,存在于一切增殖细胞内.存在肿瘤时血清DNA—P活性可增高.本文通过放射性标记物合成DNA的原理检测了某些恶性血液病血清DNA—P活性,发现它对恶性淋巴瘤、多发性骨髓瘤具有较好的辅助诊断价值,在急性白血病中诊断符合率不高,亦不能指示疗效.

Cell DNA-Palymerase (DNA-P) is a knd of enzymeswhich is closely related toDNA replication, mending, recombination, and located in all proliferative cells. The serum DNA -Pactivity increases when the patient suffers from carcinomas. We have assayed the serum DNA-P activity in some haematolagical malignancies by the method of I125 labelled DNA synthesis. It was found thatthe DNA-P assay is helpful to the diagnosis of malignant lymphoma and multiple myeloma, but not available for acute leukemia.
