On the Automatic Observing System for Coastal Stations

本文根据我所从事海洋自动观测系统研制的经验，论述了研制新型台站自动观测系统的必要性、可能性和迫切性，明确了对台站海洋观测资料的基本要求，进而对台站自动观测系统的基本构成与技术性能及如何实施研制发表了原则性意见，供制定台站自动观测系统的技术方案与实施计划参改。

On the basis of the experiences obtained by the Institute of Ocean Technology in developing automatic ocean observing systems,this paper analyses the necessity,feasibility and urgency of developing novel automatic observing systems for coastal stations.Basic requirements for ocean data observation at coastal stations are presented.Key components and technical specifications of an automatic observing system are described. The ways for developingthe automatic observing system are also outlined. This paper provides a useful reference for preparing technical project proposals for the development of automatic ocean observing systems and for formulating its implementation plans.
