根据国内外的大量文献，从６个方面对世界猕猴桃遗传育种研究现状作了详尽阐述，并回顾了１９７８年以来我国在猕猴桃遗传育种研究中所取得的进展，对今后的育种工作，作者提出了自己独特的见解和建议。

The works in six research aspects in Actinidia genetics and breeding were sum-marized,with emphasis on the achievements obtained in China since 1978.Some suggestionwas given to the future research works of these fields.
