Steam Distillation in Kjedahl Method for Determining Nitrogen is replaced by vacuum distillation.The apparatus and operation was simple,ammonia was completely and rapidly transfered with the improved method.The relative standard deviant was 0.02,and the coefficient of variation was 0.25%.The recovery rate was between 99.49%and 100.08%.
