Based on theoretically analytical study of photoconductive infrared detectors, the wafer parameters on which the detectors rely for obtaining high erformance and the theoretical basis of technological design are given in this paper.The experimental results show that under the direction of theoretical basis development of a linear array of multielement long-wave photoconductive infrared deteetors can lead to reproduce 30、 48 and 60 element infrared detectors with high performance, good uniformity and D ̄*_b>1 × 10 ̄(10)cmHz ̄(1/2)W_(-1)、 R>1 × 10 ̄4VW ̄(-1)、λ_p>11μm和λ_c>12μm.
