摘要
局域网的介质访问技术(MAC)得到了广泛的研究,本文描述了一种星环网的介质访问复合协议,在令牌环的基础上增加了实电路连接服务,使得星环网可以很好地适用于实时与交互式通信环境.文中运用有限状态机描述了该协议,最后与令牌环网的时延特性进行了计算机模拟比较.
In this paper a hybrid medium access control protocol of star-ring network is presented and a real-circuit connection service is added on the basis of token ring. Also, a finite state machine is devised. Simulation results are used for measuring a performance improvement of star-ring over a pure token ring.
