桃花象是湖北省局部桃园发生危害的一种果树新害虫。本文在三年研究基础上，重点介绍新害虫的生活史等生物学特性，并提出行之有效的防治技术措施。

Peach blossom weevil(Anthonomus sp.) is a new recorded fruit pest in Wu-san Farm of Hubei province.)After 3 years of study,the paper first presents its life history,and then describes its habits in overwinter,mating,oviposition,pupation,emergence et al.The paper suggests a set of techniques to control the harmful insect.
