普通黄瓜植株茎叶表面覆短刚毛,叶腋间有卷须,果面有瘤刺。软毛黄瓜突变株茎叶表面覆软毛,叶腋间无卷须,空节多,果面无瘤刺。软毛、无卷须,果面无瘤刺三者有连锁关系。

The normal cucumber plants are with bristles on the leaves and stems, tendrils at axilae, warts and spines on the fruits. A mutant with hairy stems and leaves, without tendrils, warts and spines was found from the normal variety. The hairy stems and leaves, without tendrils and without warts and spines are the linkage characters.
