摘要
湖南省农业昆虫区系属于东洋区系的江南亚热带稻茶区．作者根据湖南的地理状况，作物及森林的整体布局，昆虫种类组成及发生特点，将其划分为两个亚区：湘中北亚区和湘南亚区，其分界线大致在北纬２６°３０＇左右，即从东安经祁阳至炎陵一线，两亚区又可划分为３个小区．分别叙述了各小区农业昆虫发生特点和若干特有的种类．
The fauna of agricultural insects in Hunan province belonged to the region of rice and tea in
subtropical area of the south Yangtze river in Oriental Region. According to the geographical
features and conditions of the overall arrangment of crops and forests,the composition of the
insect species and the characteristics of their occurrence,the authors sug-gest that the
geographical region of agricutural insects in Hunan be divided into two subre- gions : the
region of central- north Hunan and the region of south Hunan,their divisional line is from
Dongan to Yanling via the Qiyang.Those two subregions itself may be also divided into three
small subregions where the occurrent characteristics of agricultural and forestal in-sects and
some endimic species has been described respecitively.
