In multisensors data fusion system for recognizing target's types on the sea,the authors utilize the report of ESM(Electronic Support Measure), which provides the primary parameters of radars on target's plants, to give the frame of discernment a basic probability assignment. This problem is discussed in detail and some practical methods for use has been given.
