曲面五轴无干涉立铣刀刀位轨迹的计算方法

摘要 基于立铣刀的结构特点,详细地分析了立铣刀在自由曲面NC加工过程中的刀具干涉情况,并据此推导了五轴联动无干涉立铣刀刀位轨迹的计算公式。 In the machining of sculptured surfaces, a flat end-cutter is better than a ball one in both the material removing rate and surface finish. However,it is rather dimcult to generatean interference-free tool path because the bottom of the cutter is flat.The interference by theflat end-cutter during NC machining of sculptured surfaces is discussed.The interference atthe current cutter-contact(CC)point should be judged by(a)the curvature and the radius ofthe curvature of the curve formed by a special normal intercepting line if there exists a nega-tive curvature;and this is termed curvature interference;and(b)the formulae derived forcalculating the interference positions of the cutter,and the point of maximum interference istermed bottleneck interference,The steps and calculating formulae for generating an inter-ference-free tool path with a flat end-cutter are given.
