The baseline management is an important part of the software configuration manage-inent.Abaseline management architecture based on a computer supported cooperative workenvironment is proposed. The concepts of the baseline identifying process template and thetrigger events are introduced for defining the authorization process of each baseline accordingto the specific project.This architecture is suitable for the modification process managementin the version management of the software configuration management.
