摘要
利用维氏压痕/抗弯强度法对3Y-PSZ单体和3Y-PSZ/20%Al_2O_3复合陶瓷的裂纹扩展曲线进行了测试。结果表明,与裂纹扩展初期相比,Al_2O_3颗粒的弥散增韧效果随着裂纹的扩展而明显上升;除裂纹偏向以外,Al_2O_3弥散颗粒是通过架桥和拔出等方式来进一步提高3Y-PSZ陶瓷的断裂韧性的。
The R-curve or the resistance behavior of 3 mol%Y2O3-ZrO2(3Y-PSZ)and 3Y-pSz/20vol%Al2O3 ceramics to creck propagation is studied using the Vickers indentation/bendingstrength technique,The PSZ-based ceramic materials with stress-induced phase transforma-tion toughening exhibit an ascending fracture toughness. At the initial stage of crack propa-gation, there exists only a limited difference between the fracture toughness of 3Y-PSZ and3Y-PSZ/Al2O3. However,with an increase of the crack length,the toughness of the compositebecomes remarkable owing to the effect of the dispersion of Al2O3 particles,In addition,theinteractions between crack and dispersed particles such as “grain bridging ” and “pull·out”will further improve the fracture toughness of the ceramics.
