在定义Ｗ－Ｓ变换的基础上提出了一种适于线性电路的故障支路数的估计方法．本方法不受元件容差、测量误差的影响，且所需计算时间短，计算空间小．

This paper put forward with a new method for the esfimating of the fault branches number of linar circuit, basing on W--S transformation which is a new concept. With element tolerence and measure error be considered, this methed needs less time and memory of computer.
